Gollum tries to slip away through a landscape of treacherous fens and mires while the heroes pursue him. Players cooperate to advance a quest, manage resources, and contend with scenario-specific Escape rules that let the quarry evade capture. The encounter deck adds monsters and hazards themed to the Dead Marshes, while sixty new cards expand hero options, allies, and events to handle pursuit and environmental threats.
