The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Hobbit: On the Doorstep
Continue the solo or cooperative saga through the second half of The Hobbit, following the party into Mirkwood, beneath the mountain, and into the Battle of Five Armies. Players build decks from a large set of new player cards and take on three linked scenarios that introduce location hazards, enemy encounters and story-driven objectives. Gameplay focuses on questing, combat and resource management as players battle giant spiders, infiltrate Smaug’s lair to claim treasures, and resolve the climactic battle. The set adds new heroes and card options to expand strategies and replayability within the campaign framework.
