The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Hunt for Gollum
The fellowship pursues an elusive creature through the Anduin Valley, following clues and avoiding misleading trails. Players build a fixed 60-card deck that expands the card pool and introduces a new scenario and a new hero. Gameplay centers on questing: uncovering clues, managing threats from the encounter deck, and deciding whether to pursue leads or reroute when false trails appear. The scenario challenges cooperative decision-making and deck composition as players balance progress, resources, and combat while tracking the hunt.
