The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Choose to command the forces of good or evil and recreate battles from Middle-earth with detailed miniatures, ruined-building scenery, and six-sided dice. The game uses a smaller and simpler system than comparable miniature wargames, with battles resolved by opposed D6 rolls and individual stats breaking ties. The boxed set includes a full-color rulebook, 48 plastic miniatures representing Gondor, High Elves, and Moria Goblins, scenery, and dice. Additional miniatures and expansions allow games to be extended and combined with scenarios from later parts of the trilogy.
