The Luminary
This 20-page roleplaying supplement presents the luminary, a character whose force of personality attracts attention and influences the morale, inspiration, and behavior of those around her. Luminaries may be performers, leaders, deal-makers, organizers, journalists, criminals, or spies who hide in plain sight. The book introduces three archetypes—the celebrity, headliner, and fixer—along with expanded Diplomacy rules for influencing groups ranging from small gatherings to entire nations. It also covers Progress Levels, a framework for determining the general technological advancement of a campaign.
