The Lurking Fear
A solo choose-your-own-adventure set in the Catskill Mountains, where an investigator arrives in the village of Lefferts Corner after a thunderstorm destroys a nearby squatter settlement. Local warnings connect the disaster to the abandoned Martense mansion and its secretive former inhabitants. Players follow branching narrative paths, make decisions, and resolve challenges with simplified percentile-based roleplaying rules. Four pre-generated characters are included, along with basic rules for play. A d100 or two d10s are required, and maintaining sanity is central to the investigation.
