The Maddening Song
Every thirteen years, schismada emerge in the woods around Shandoa, a high tree camp inhabited by Thudisch elves, and fill the village with their madness-inducing song. The villagers are accustomed to these outbreaks, but this time the creatures are accompanied by murslakes—cunning predators that cannot hear the song and have come to hunt amid the confusion. Players work to manage the threat and protect the camp from both the singing insects and the creatures exploiting their arrival.
