The Mass of Limbs
A writhing mass of violent tentacles is summoned to the material plane and kept in a pit inside a wizard’s tower. The creature is one of a species that reproduces parasitically in hosts ranging from dead gods and magical fungi to inorganic crystals. Players encounter this occult monstrosity as part of a wizard’s scheme against the Crystal King, where its origins, strange lifecycle, and unpredictable loyalties shape the conflict.
