The Mind Masters
Players take on roles in an expedition sent to locate a lost cache of ancient artifacts in a ruined valley. Each round, players explore the map, search sites, and gather clues to identify and recover artifacts while managing limited resources and party cohesion. Encounters with hostile nomads, environmental hazards, and remnants of a previous expedition create tactical choices about route, supply use, and whether to press deeper into the valley. The game resolves exploration and conflicts with dice and card-driven events, and victory depends on efficiently retrieving artifacts before the expedition falters.

Answered from the rulebook by Ludoya's rules assistant.
Do we take turns, or can anyone play whenever they think it’s time?
There are no turns; whoever believes they have the lowest card currently available plays it. Cards are played one at a time onto the centre stack (page 1).
Can I tell everyone my card—or give hints with gestures?
No. Players may not reveal or show their card values, consult, or use secret signals (page 1).
If I have several cards, can I play whichever one I want first?
No. You must always play the lowest card in your hand before your higher cards (page 2).
What happens if someone plays a card out of order?
Stop immediately and lose one life; players holding lower cards than the one just played set those cards aside. Refocus and continue the current level rather than restarting it (page 2).
How do we use a throwing star?
A player suggests using one by raising a hand, and everyone must agree. Each player then discards the lowest card in their hand, one star is set aside, and play continues after refocusing (page 2).
After we finish a level, do we keep our cards for the next one?
No. Shuffle all 100 number cards and deal each player the number of cards for the new level—one more than at the previous level (page 2).
