The Nomicon

A system-neutral collection of tables for generating fantasy names for people, places, and cultures. Naming groups provide consistent styles for different societies, ranging from familiar language-inspired forms to stranger categories such as Elderweirdish, Dreamlandish, and Cthonic. Additional tables create city epithets, tavern names, legendary fortresses, ruler titles, and other setting details. The book is designed as a companion to broader worldbuilding and adventure-design resources.
