The Oregon Trail: Hunt for Food Card Game

Players hunt for enough food to survive a journey across the frontier, aiming to collect 600 pounds of meat before running out of supplies or ammunition. A 6x6 grid of facedown cards represents the hunting grounds, with players rolling dice to explore, move, and shoot animals. Revealed terrain can block movement, while abandoned wagons provide useful supplies. Hunting requires coordinated dice rolls and bullets, and failed attempts may allow animals to escape. Dysentery, drowning, injuries, and other hazards can kill or incapacitate players. The group loses if everyone dies, the hunter becomes trapped, or all bullets are spent; collecting the required amount of meat wins the game.
