Additional mini-expansions add random round events, endgame trends, pets, and stand-alone jobs. Events can provide benefits or penalties, with some effects preventable by completing tasks during the preceding round. Trends identify popular project categories and award additional long-term happiness for matching projects. Pets advance during upkeep when fed, while stand-alone jobs cannot be promoted but can provide increased rewards by paying extra upkeep.
