The Rescue Mission
A tabletop role-playing adventure framework centered on locating and saving an important non-player character, such as a royal, celebrity, community figure, friend, or family member. Player characters enter the adversary’s territory, overcome encounters and challenges, confront the villain, and return the victim to safety. The framework is designed for use with any setting, genre, or rules system. It provides a foundation for adding suitable villains, monsters, non-player characters, and encounters to fit the campaign.
