The Secret Life of Monsters
A roleplaying supplement for giving intelligent dungeon inhabitants hidden histories, motives, conflicts, and vulnerabilities. It includes a d12 table of monster secret types, along with guidance for incorporating them into individual dungeons and the wider campaign world. These secrets create opportunities for intrigue, negotiation, blackmail, and other interactions beyond combat, allowing adventurers to exploit tensions among the dungeon’s inhabitants.
