The Snows of Summer
An adventure for 1st-level characters begins in the village of Heldren, where unnatural summer snows cover the surrounding forest. The heroes investigate the phenomenon and discover a magical portal leading to Irrisen, a land ruled by winter and threatened by the mysterious return of the witch Baba Yaga. The volume also includes gazetteers for villages in Taldor and Irrisen, background on Irrisen’s history and mysteries, a Pathfinder’s Journal entry following an alchemist’s journey to the capital of Whitethrone, and four new monsters.
