The Solo Thursday's Child
This ruleset provides a solo framework for the investigative folklore RPG, using an oracle built from a standard 52‑card deck (jokers removed). It generates random mysteries, clues, and adversaries so a single player can improvise sessions without relying on prewritten scenarios. Gameplay centers on drawing and interpreting cards to determine prompts, challenges, and outcomes while resolving scenes through the RPG’s usual skill and roleplay mechanics. The PDF is a standalone solo toolkit rather than a scripted adventure book.
