The Star of Chaos
The player characters are staying at the End of the Road tavern in Kaziksburg, a town founded by a kobold. After a loud explosion echoes through the surrounding forest, most of the tavern’s patrons flee, leaving the characters with a small group of humans and kobolds. A damaged clockwork woodsman soon arrives carrying lumber and a large axe, leading the characters to investigate the strange event and whatever caused its scorched and dented body.
