A mysterious obsidian obelisk appears near the kingdom, causing pockets of accelerated time across the surrounding countryside. Creatures and structures age by years or decay into ruin, while frightened villagers flee the expanding effects. The party investigates the tower and its temporal curse as panic spreads through nearby settlements.
