The Terrible Revenge of Simpering Malexineuss the Pretender
The adventurers’ careers have gone badly, leaving them imprisoned in the small town of Middlesmith. When a mysterious sickness ravages the town and resists both traditional and divine healing, the elders offer them a chance to earn their freedom and a reward. Players investigate the source of the sickness, search for a cure, and attempt to save the remaining townsfolk. The adventure is designed as a starting point for campaigns set in Greyhawk, the Forgotten Realms, or another fantasy world.
