The Thane's Crypt
This fantasy adventure takes a novice adventurer into the ruins of a fortress that fell to the forces of nature decades ago. After a shepherd discovers the dungeon entrance, rival parties descend into the crypt in search of the supposedly magical Amulet of Akar. Designed for a single low-level character and a Dungeon Master, the scenario can serve as a one-shot or be incorporated into an ongoing campaign. It was originally written for early editions of a classic fantasy roleplaying system but can be adapted to other rulesets.
