The Thaumaturge
An OSR-compatible magic-user class built around risky, time-consuming spellcasting. Thaumaturges can learn spells of any level, but casting them often requires preparation, tools, and additional time, with failed rolls bringing dangerous consequences and successful rolls producing powerful effects. The supplement includes a complete 20-level class, six new magic items, and two new spells.
