The Thicket
A fantasy adventure set in Burdock’s Valley, where a once-reclusive kobold community has begun attacking merchants, caravans, and travelers along the road between Gosterwick and Deepton. Hired by a local official, the characters investigate the thorny thicket surrounding the Broken Knob and seek to discover the cause of the kobolds’ sudden hostility. The adventure is self-contained, with optional connections to three additional scenarios set in the same region. It can be played independently or as the beginning of a larger adventure arc.
