The Towers of Dr. Xill
A fantasy roleplaying adventure set in the frozen tower of a mad scientist who experimented with elemental creatures and human subjects. Players explore the abandoned complex, thawing or breaking through ice to reach chambers, items, and hidden dangers. Resources and excavation tools must be managed carefully, while frictionless floors create hazards and opportunities for unexpected movement. Visual puzzles, puzzle rooms, and handouts test the party as it uncovers the fate of Dr. Xill and his frozen experiments. Designed for Dungeon Crawl Classics or Mutant Crawl Classics at levels 2–3, and adaptable to other fantasy RPGs.
