A gothic fantasy scenario unfolds during a masquerade held in a castle as famine, plague, and the threat of an apocalyptic evil gather outside. Decadent aristocrats drink and practice black magic while desperate adventurers seek to uncover the truth and prevent disaster. Designed for a single session, the scenario combines horror and intrigue and includes five fully developed player characters. It requires the ELEMENTAL Complete Guide to play.
