Thermopyles

In this cooperative, card-driven game, players command the outnumbered Spartan army defending the Thermopylae pass against invading Persian forces. With 300 Spartan soldiers and support from other Greek units, they decide when to commit their strongest troops, when to stand firm, and when to consolidate their strength. Players defeat each Persian unit by collectively playing cards with greater strength. The group wins if the Persian army withdraws, or loses when the final stand fails.
