This AD&D sourcebook expands magical play with more than two hundred new spells and magical items for wizards, priests, and other spellcasters. It introduces wizard options such as elementalists, metamagic, and wild magic, along with expanded schools of thought. Priests gain new spheres covering chaos, law, numbers, thought, time, war, and wards, as well as powerful quest spells. The book also includes rules, setting material, and guidance for role-playing magic, with items such as the claw of magic stealing, dimensional mine, crystal parrot, ring of randomness, and staff of the elements.
