Set in 2205, the game follows the Government of Time’s struggle against the Time Retrograde Army, a vast force seeking to alter history. Players take the role of Saniwa, sages who awaken the spirits of powerful weapons and command the resulting Touken Danshi, or sword warriors, in the fight to preserve the course of history.
