Traveller Companion Update 2024

A collection of optional and alternate rules for science-fiction campaigns. Character creation variants allow more specialized backgrounds, while expanded combat rules cover hit locations and wound severity. Survival hazards include hunger, thirst, temperature, atmospheric and water pressure, with additional rules for animals, vehicles, lawbreaking, and starship operations. The book also expands world-building and space travel with guidance on interpreting UWP data, additional spaceport types, gas giant operations, slower-than-light travel, jump space, minefields, missile salvoes, and new starship weapons. Narrative task resolution and mundane event systems support different campaign styles.
