Treasure
A system for generating treasure that goes beyond the usual gold, gems, and magic items. It focuses on historically grounded finds such as art, goods, and furnishings, with tables that account for an area’s danger and the expected power level of the group. Random generation helps create varied, setting-appropriate rewards without heavily favoring particular characters or introducing disproportionately powerful items. The guidelines are designed for AD&D but can be adapted to other fantasy campaigns using standard gold-piece values.
