Triplanetary
Players command small fleets across a map of the inner Solar System out to Jupiter and resolve scenarios such as racing, piracy, and invasions. Movement uses vector mechanics: players secretly plot thrusts and change velocities with limited fuel, then reveal and execute courses drawn on the map. Celestial bodies alter trajectories, so gravity assists and careful planning are central to efficient travel. A finite number of ships and scarce fuel create trade-offs between speed and conservation. The game supports more than three players but board congestion from plotted trails can increase with larger groups.
