2003 · Abstract Strategy
Turmoil
An abstract positioning game in which players aim to collect tokens by successively controlling discs of three different colors. Each player begins with pegs occupying two opposite corners and, on a turn, moves a peg along a printed line, into an adjacent hole, or by rotating a disc a quarter turn. Moving three pegs onto a new disc gives control of it and earns its corresponding token. The player then places or resets two obstacles for the next turn: one peg locks a disc against rotation, while a special marker blocks a movement line.
