U-Boat Leader

Players command a flotilla of German submarines across the Atlantic during World War II, directing patrols, allocating boats to convoy lanes, wolfpacks, or special missions like mine-laying, and managing patrol rotations and supply escorts. Search and contact resolution mixes strategic placement with tactical engagements: when a sub locates a group it may summon others in the patrol zone, then shift to the tactical display to maneuver, identify, and attack merchant ships while evading escort warships. Campaign options span different phases of the Battle of the Atlantic and the available submarine types range from coastal IIB/C boats through long-range IXs to later Elektro-boats, with special operations points used to call search aircraft or replenish at sea.
