After returning from the Misty Mountains with gold in their pockets, the players settle in the small, quiet town of Thered Brin to spend the harsh winter. The sleepy settlement lies among Rhudaur’s hills, but a nighttime summons from the mayor suggests that something is about to disturb the peace.
