This expansion introduces a new resource: data discs, which grant extra actions and interact with new buildings and city types. Players use data discs to build data centers and develop information cities, creating additional scoring avenues and strategic options alongside the base game mechanics. The box also supplies upgraded components that replace or enhance pieces from the base game and the earlier expansion, and the content is designed to integrate with both prior sets.
