This roleplaying sourcebook explores the final nights of ancient vampire dynasties and the rise of the clanless. It introduces alternate rules for generation, maturation, and thin-blooded vampires, along with rules for playing the Curst, mortal offspring of thin-blooded vampires. The book includes background material, playable stories, detailed characters, and guidance for using the Languor, an epidemic that strips elder vampires of their power. Storytellers can adapt these rules for chronicles involving mortals, thin-blooded vampires, Caitiff, and elders.
