Unspeakable Words: Deluxe Edition
Players build words from letter cards in their hand, scoring each word based on the number of angled strokes in the letters. After forming a word, the player rolls a 20-sided die; meeting or exceeding the word’s value preserves the word, while failing costs the player a sanity token represented by a Cthulhu pawn. Each letter card features unique Lovecraftian-themed illustrations, and play supports multiple players with optional additional decks and colored pawns for larger groups. Rounds combine hand management, word construction, and risk assessment as players balance high-scoring words against the danger of the die roll.
