The book presents stories, letters, and other source excerpts from hunters’ perspectives, exploring mistaken identities, long-hidden monsters, the breadth of supernatural threats, and the ways ordinary people can also be affected. A final chapter provides guidance for storytellers on portraying and creating new monsters.
