Victory at Sea: HMS Duke of York
Add the King George V-class battleship HMS Duke of York to a Victory at Sea miniatures fleet. Commissioned in 1941, she served as a convoy escort and flagship of Task Force H, supporting operations in North Africa, Sicily, and Norway. In December 1943, she engaged the German battleship Scharnhorst, landing several hits that helped force it onto the defensive before it was sunk by torpedoes and further gunfire.
