Victory at Sea: HMS Eagle
Add an early Royal Navy aircraft carrier to a Victory at Sea miniatures fleet. Originally laid down as a Chilean super-dreadnought, the ship was purchased and converted into a carrier, entering service in 1924. It operates across the Indian Ocean, Mediterranean, and China station, initially carrying Fairey Swordfish torpedo bombers before later receiving fighters. During the Second World War, it ferries aircraft to Malta and supports British operations in the Mediterranean.
