Vintage Gothic: Artificer Class
A horror-themed artificer class built around mechanical engineering, chemistry, and medicine, inspired by the mad scientist archetype. It includes thief-like abilities for detecting traps and illusions, and for identifying potions and machinery. At 5th level, the artificer can create non-magical magic items known as Masterworks and brew potions. Three levels of spell-like “Marvels” provide progressively more Gothic abilities.
