Volfyirion

A competitive two-player deck-building card game set in a fantasy world sixty years before the main series. Players build and customize their decks to field armies, manipulate Qoam, and attack the opponent’s cities until all are destroyed. A towering dragon can be summoned and controlled to wreak havoc, but both players can contest its allegiance and attempt to turn it against their rival. Rounds play quickly with tactical card play, resource management, and contesting key board positions.

Simplemente espectacular. No soy muy fan de los juegos de construcción de mazos pero #Volfyrion me ha hecho replantearmelo. Al leer las reglas tenía bastantes dudas sobre las acciones y las mecánicas del juego, ya que con los mismos recursos pueden hacerse muchas acciones diferentes, sin embargo, una vez desplegado el juego sobre la mesa, todo queda muchísimo más claro. El juego está cuidado al milímetro en cuanto a indicaciones de las cartas, absolutamente todas las acciones posibles están explicadas en algún lugar por lo que no se da opción a dudas. Me preocupaba la duración de la partida, ya que 15-30 min me parecía poco tiempo para lo que esperaba tras leer el reglamento, sin embargo me alegra decir que la duración está relativamente bien estimada ofreciendo partidas rápidas. Me ha encantado el sistema de juego y las ilustraciones son maravillosas. Además el juego ofrece variantes para modo solitario, cooperativo y partidas por equipos así como cartas adicionales especiales que se pueden añadir a la partida dando nuevas experiencias de juego. Lo único negativo desde mi punto de vista es el formato de la caja, que veo un poco frágil. Estoy convencido de que voy a jugar muchísimo a #Volfyirion.
