Players recruit and deploy units such as War Drummers, Pitch Throwers, Raiders, Heavy Cavalry, Vanguard, and Warlords, each with distinct abilities that influence movement, combat strength, and opponent decision-making. Play proceeds through drafting and placing units, maneuvering to control objectives and trigger tactical effects that disrupt or weaken enemy formations. The game emphasizes spatial planning, timing of assaults, and leveraging morale-changing powers to create openings and force errors.
