This volume explores the Vau and the other sentient races of the Hegemony, detailing their histories, cultures, and place among the stars. It also presents an adventure in which selected Known Worlders are invited to visit Vau worlds and establish a dialogue between cultures, while investigating the Vau’s true intentions. The material stands alone and does not require the previous Symbiot-focused volume.
