Players reenact the closing events of the Third Age, commanding armies and characters across Middle-earth as the Dark Lord's forces clash with the Free Peoples. The game uses detailed army organization and unit profiles, supported by a comprehensive ruleset that covers large-scale battles, scenarios and campaign play. A full-color rulebook provides rules, scenarios (standard and historical), hobby guidance and profiles for each model in the line, enabling players to build forces, resolve combat and manage command and morale during sprawling tabletop engagements.
