Warhammer 40,000: Apocalypse
A game of massive battles set in the grim darkness of the far future, where players command entire Space Marine companies, Imperial Knights, and other large formations. Armies are organised into Detachments led by Commanders, with Faction Abilities supporting themed forces and narrative alliances. Players secretly assign Advance, Aimed Fire, or Assault orders, then alternate Detachment activations to manoeuvre and fight. Damage is resolved at the end of each turn, allowing units to act before they are destroyed. Each player also builds a deck of Command Assets for strategic effects such as psychic powers, order changes, and re-rolls. Six missions and a mission generator provide different battle scenarios.
