What Is Under Monger Lake?
A low-level fantasy adventure begins when fish start raining over the capital. Investigating the cause leads into a boggy forest filled with giant insects, a mysterious fishery and tea shop, student protesters, fish people, and a giant fish said to contain a magical city. Players decide whether to help or oppose the people involved, uncovering schemes involving mind control, captivity, and a strangely obtained herbal ingredient. The adventure is designed for 3–5 characters of levels 1–3, with choices that may lead to longer-term quests and character advancement. Conversion guidelines for 5e are included.
