Wing Leader: Blitz 1939-1942
Early WWII air battles expand across Western Europe, the Soviet Union, the Pacific, and the Mediterranean. Players command aircraft such as French D.520s, Japanese Ki-27s, Soviet fighters, Royal Navy Fulmars and Martlets, and P-39D Airacobras in scenarios covering Nomonhan, Operation Pedestal, and the invasion of New Guinea. A campaign system recreates air actions during the opening weeks of Operation Barbarossa, with players making decisions about targets, attack planning, and raid execution. New aircraft, scenarios, a campaign map, and bomb-damage markers are included. A copy of Wing Leader: Victories 1940-1942 is required to play.
