Written in the Cards
A cooperative storytelling game in which players create a shared scenario, establish its goals, and take on roles within the unfolding story. One player acts as the Author, combining the cast’s decisions and actions into a narrative as the group attempts heists, castle assaults, alien invasions, escapes, and other adventures. When an action could go either way, cards determine whether it succeeds or fails, and how favorable or troublesome the result is. Players can attempt anything without dice or complex statistics, using a single reference chart to resolve uncertain outcomes.
