You Are The Hero: A History of Fighting Fantasy Gamebooks
This illustrated history chronicles more than three decades of Fighting Fantasy gamebooks, from Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone’s The Warlock of Firetop Mountain through more than eighty subsequent titles. It examines the series’ development, cultural impact, and lasting appeal to readers who played with dice, a pencil, and an eraser. Written by Jonathan Green, author of seven Fighting Fantasy gamebooks.
