Zaxxon
Players command two fighter planes through an asteroid-belt fortress to destroy enemy targets and ultimately shoot the central robot. Each turn both players roll a die simultaneously; the lower roller spins a spinner that triggers enemy missile silos or gun turrets, then players move in order based on their die results. Movement uses die points that can be split between a player’s two planes, includes altitude changes that affect actions, and forbids passing through occupied spaces. Enemy defenses occupy color-coded zones that can shoot down planes when the spinner indicates red or blue; destroyed defenses no longer fire. A plane must be at low altitude to attack and high altitude to cross walls. The first player to eliminate required targets and hit the robot with both planes wins.
